***PLAYOFFS Game 6 GDT Oilers vs. Kings 5/12/22 7:00pm on BSW & TBS***

Well, whatever happens on Saturday, given where we're at and given where they're at, I'm pretty confident the Kings will win another Stanley Cup before the Oilers do.

Also, the hamster on the wheel powering the LGK servers needs to run a little faster during the playoffs.

How much whining will there be from EDM about the 'rough' treatment their stars got?
And I mean the coaches & players.

Connor McDavid as Oilers captain has been head over shoulders above Anze Kopitar as the Kings captain this series. Kopitar hasn't shown good captaincy.

Kopitar killed us this game. Also if he?s not going to shoot on the PP, it?s pointless because Edmonton clearly is overplaying his too predictable pass first mentality.

The Kings just seem to get away from their road game at home. It?s bit them all year. Edmonton obviously is more careful on the road but this has been issue that has plagued the kings all season.

It is what it is. Now we will see if they have one more road gem in them.

They really need more from Kopitar. Danault can only do so much. We would be in trouble if Lizotte wasn?t doing so well at C.

We got to go for blood on Saturday. I feel our guys will be so pissed. We play better angry

Wouldn’t want to be the team tasked with ending Dustin Brown’s career.

Unbelievable. Really close. Gonna have to try again on Saturday...

No idea how Mike Smith was still allowed to play after he speared an opposing player...in the groin. Could have just dropped the stick and walked away as the play was dead.

Hopefully Draisatl wakes up tomorrow morning with severe swelling in his ankle.

Oh..and I really hate Kane.

Kopi's never been a rallying captain...obviously. This needs to be Doughty's team now that he's matured.

Brown, AA and Iaffalo had pretty rough games out there tonight.

Overall, I'm proud of these guys. Imagine Doughty and Arviddson back and a couple of good additions to the team for next season. It's going to continue to ramp up.

Hopefully, they win Game 7 and get to experience that and a second round opponent.

When Quick let in that beyond soft goal, it made such a statement.
?I am not locked in. Ergo, we - a chain only as strong as its weakest link - are not locked in. We may get a couple goals and get back in this, but it?s going to be a SCRAMBLE.?
Which is huge advantage Edmonton.
And that?s what the entire third period was. When the announcers are talking about how good the ?tempo? is, it?s advantage Oilers.
We had virtually no O zone time. No energy on attack. Kopi looks like fricking Methuselah out there.
We look OLD. We are old but we?re really not OOOOLD but the coach?s rotations are accentuating our age.
Can?t be good to have that start to a third period at home and do squadouche the rest of the night. Feels like they?re content to have been a nice story.

Honestly, that looked a little more like I expected this series to look. If McDavid doesn't learn to assert himself against this Kings team, he's never going to learn it. We've pushed them to a Game 7 with a half a squad of up and comers and B-Listers.

Maybe it will annoy their fans even more to lose a Game 7 at home. Lol.

Frankly tired of blaming games on goaltenders, yes quick gave McWatever an inch under his pad when 99% of that is a save against the post not far side under the pad. But if you let McWhater skate in covered at full speed that’s on the defense. Kings had what 58 minutes to correct it? Our line up is younger than the Oilers. Agree Kopitar and Brown are way beyond their prime but this lineup is not and oooold lineup. At best they are an inexperienced lineup with seven first time playoff players. That actually excites me for the future of this team. Weren’t expecpted to even be in any conversation about playoff experience

2 better teams than us choked a chance to clinch tonight.
Game 7 baby, gonna be hammered all night long for all 3!!

Nobody said it was game over when he let that in.
I said it made a statement about the entire team’s mental preparedness that was borne out in my mind.
YMMV.

Pretty much all that needs to be said:
