The kings have a style, it works and eveyones happy, they lose with it and it gives you no satisfaction at all because it looks soooo meek.

I think a lot of what we’re seeing on the PP is a mental dominance of the Kings PK. That’s not a one year thing. A lot of that is a leftover from last playoffs. Other teams don’t have that mental baggage the Kings PK has.

Kings aren't even trying or giving an effort. Just falling into that boring 1-3-1, zero offensive zone time, zero sustained pressure, running around in their own end, pitiful penalty killing, etc. I honestly thought they had a chance coming out of the 1st only down 3-2.

Embarassing.

Agreed, especially if we loose Gavrikov as a UFA. Love this team and their skill, speed and never give up attitude (maybe unfortunally not so much tonight), but that can’t make up the fact that they’re being outmuscled out there.

They had a 3 goal lead and 40 minutes away from going up 3-1. The Kings have the horses but they’re all coming up lame since the start of period 2 in Game 4.

I preferred big and mean Kings teams in 2-1 games over this. Size is a serious issue. Kempe having a blowout season was amazing, but such glaring issues.

This is absolutely true. It's fine when we win, but we look week and like we're being bullied without ever retaliating for the rough stuff. Also, the 1-3-1 instead of forechecking is such a passive style.

I understand both, but it's really sad hockey when it's getting dominated by a fast, skilled and physical team.
 
On the bright side.. the Kings will have 3 full days to stew on this embarrassment.. and maybe the Oilers will lose momentum by Saturday? Ah who am I kidding? lol

They had the best PP in the history of the league all year certainly not just a Kings thing. This series is a disaster but give them some credit for moving the puck quickly that you can’t even chase
 
Gabe has been holding his own on faceoffs and on his defensive center. He is 50% on the dots tonight. Maybe Gabe actually is the 3C the Kings have been hoping for?
 
Why cause you don't agree with it?..hi glove hand is to low...when he drops he shrinks..and he takes the shots deep...your analalisis can **** off..he sucks..if we keep him he needs a great amount of work with an amazing goalie coach..or we rotate back ups...

It really is something to watch. They just drop off so many no look passes and the puck is just everywhere. It's damn scary.
