Idk if this is the right thread to post in..but is anybody here at Riot Fest Chicago? Seen a couple people with Kings gear. Cousin and I flew in on Weds night.

So I usually don't do this but I am gonna post a few vids from the same band.....

Maid Of Ace

A somewhat new band, they have been out a couple of years but broke out recently at the Rebellion Festival in the U.K. and made it to the pages of a few music mags. Hailing from Hastings England this band is an all girl street punk band. Not only are they all girls but they are all sisters! I have to say that I found myself liking this band from the get go, it is not very often you get an all female punk that rocks like they do. And their vids are well done, they have caught the eye of an upcoming film-maker from the U.K., Mark Richards. They recently played here in L.A. but I was out of town, can't wait till come back.

So here we go, the sisters Elliot, otherwise known as Maid of Ace:

They seem to really like Strongbow Cider

Pretty good bicyclists...

Here they are live....

And yeah ok, gotta admit that it may be that I took such a liking to them is that they remind me of the punk rock chicks I used to hang with back in the day. Plus if you notice, a band member wore a GBH shirt in last two vids so they got their street punk influences right!

I just got presale tickets to Flogging Molly/Mighty Mighty Bosstones/Mariachi El Bronx at the Forum for St. Patrick's Day.

Still can't believe they're playing the Forum, but should be a good time!

ha!

This sold out in about 5 minutes today from what I hear, but I was able to score tickets for 4/29. Total guilty pleasure but I love the old albums!
