haha. i totally bought this. it's coming to me from the epitaph distro in germany because i missed the boat on the american limited edition preorder. one of my favorite songs is american jesus and there's a remix of that at the end of the album. i also bought this:

a portion of the proceeds goes to a survivors network of those abused by priests.

just got an e-mail that ALL is playing the Mariners Church in Irvine on 4/10/14. Interesting. Is that the church that the guy from Thrice works at?


 
Billy Bragg has always been one of my favs and of all his songs this one is one of his best.



The lyrics are from a poem written in 1906 by Rudyard Kipling and Bragg was asked to put it to music by some royal society of something or what not.The lyrics and attitude of this tune are punk as hell. Who knew good ol' Rudyard was a punker?

saw bad religion perform "o come Emmanuel" on Conan last night. it was righteous.
