wow, looks very kid friendly. right in my backyard, too. hmmm... my hair lady went to the punk in drublic (punk n brew? i forget) thing though and she said there weren?t enough portapotties. they were close to overflowing and people were peeing everywhere else outside. ewww... hopefully, they get that kink worked out for this fest...

Alas it turns out this looks to be fake
 
PSA folks, if you have amazon prime, a really good influx of punk docu's have just been released to the masses. "Finding Joesph I: The HR Bad Brains Story" and "Finding Johnny (Johnny Thunders, NYD) " are amazing.

"Salad Days" as well.

That said, it's pretty f***ing stupid that there isn't a proper SoCal Punk documentary ranging from 76' thru 88'ish. Unless I'm missing something, it's "Decline..." and a bunch of crappy VHS junk slapped together and called a documentary.

Unless I'm missing something, it's a travesty!

I want West Coast "Salad Days"!

I should watch that Bad Brains doc. :good:

I watched another doc a while ago that had H.R being weird in concert instead of performing and afterwards, the guitarist calls him out and says that he just made the band look bad in front of everybody. And that he was going to write a song about H.R and call it "Black Judas." mhihi:

Yeah man. I thought HR was a d-bag but apparently dude has real mental issues. He's full on skitzo. I feel bad for him now.

This is Evan Jacobs from the band ICE. They were a silly band in the early 90's that played a lot with 411 at the Claremont Colleges back in the day. They were really bad but entertaining as hell. I wish he was able to finish it because I was there for most of it. I left when the scene morphed into chugga chugga shiatty bands. He talks about my all time favorite hardcore band, Uniform freaking Choice before they completely changed into a metal band.

 
Since I'm going to be in Vegas anyways, I'm going to this dandy little show Memorial Day weekend. :bhump:
