Superman v Batman/DC movies

Loved WW for many of the reasons listed previously. Gal Gadot really made that movie. Seems like DC took a few pages from MCU.

There is one thing that irked me was the story around Ares. That was incredibly weak how he was finally introduced and the final battle. Sure lots of cool SFX, but the content of the story was incredibly lacking. Sure, the movie is called Wonder Woman, but I didnt feel like there was an antagonist at all in the movie.

WW tops the Box Office two weeks in a row!

It even beat out the mu-mu-mu-mmy, which I thought looked kinda bad from the trailer and turns out to, well, at least from the reviews, to be really bad, haha.

I am already salivating at the possibility of a Wonder Woman sequel with Cheetah as the main villain. ;)

I saw WW over the weekend. I certainly think the desire to love a movie so much is coloring perceptions. Look, it was fine. And I don't want to start a war on LGK, but the movie had a LOT of flaws. Overlong by 40 minutes at least. But the most glaring deficiency, I was watching the scenes in Themyscira(sp) and wondering why a great actress like Robin Wright sounded like she was raised by Boris and Natasha. It's because Gal Gadot could not lose her accent(which speaks to her flaws as an actress) so apparently they had the other actresses try to match. Very off putting.
Like I said. A lot of flaws, still a solid entertaining movie. But let's keep it in perspective, ok?

And if you don't like Captain America:The First Avenger...you have NO right liking this. Because the movies are very similar in tone.

And Ewen Bremner is a damned treasure.

Zack Snyder’s Cameo In ‘Wonder Woman’ Was Right In Front Of Our Faces

BTW save your youjusthateitcauseit'sbetterthanSnyder comments. This movie helps DC/WB gain some traction in the 'good news' category and The Snyders produced it...so it's not like he doesn't benefit. I know you guys have tuned me out at this point, so I don't want to argue about it, but no movie is worthy of these all good/all bad opinions. I argue pro when you guys abjectly dismiss, or con when folks let their love overtake objectivity. After all, I am the devils advocate round here.

It's not like this thread is known for controversy or anything. ;)

That's one of the reasons I loved Wonder Woman so much...it totally reminded me of The First Avenger, which is one of my absolute favorite comic book movies.
