Talbot vs Copley

At this point it's clear that Todd is going to make it so Cam has to lose the spot. Not sure Copley can win it. I also don't know if that actually means anything

Talbot is definitely outperforming Copley so far this season in all categories except win ratio. Copley is so interesting in that he can put up honestly horrible stats but still find a way to help the team win. I'd like to see him get an even share of the games and see if he can keep getting the W's.

I also believe the defense has to step up and clear the front of the net. I can't blame all the goals on our tenders. Some opposing players are allowed to camp in front of crease. A good defense can make the goaltender look great, see our former tender in NY.

Key. Defense needs to improve.

Kings are probably letting in as many dangerous shots as they did to start last year. Scoring at an even higher clip. Biggest difference is they’re getting average goaltending vs. league-worst-goaltending last year.

So proud of my kings owning the leafs in my hometown Toronto lol chirped all my friends that are Leafs fans hahah.

Congratulations to Talbot on the shutout. Honestly if it wasn't for bad luck he should have 3 this year. It's very clear who our starter is but once again I'm grateful for Copley's previous contributions.

Copley doesn't need to at this point Rittich is waiting for a shot
Agreed. I know we risk losing either Copley or Rittich to waivers if sent down, but Rittich really deserves the chance to prove himself with the Kings in the NHL.

Cam's about dominating the stats in relation to games played except Demko's freakish numbers. If he continues this then color me impressed - I have a ton of confidence in him right now.
