Exactly! Any real coach/manager will say positive things outwardly and keep any negativity behind closed doors. What the hell else is he supposed to say? "He sucks, I can't believe I'm stuck with this f***up."

Copley joined the ranks of hundreds of goalkeepers beaten by a Crosby wrap around.
Copley joined the ranks of hundreds of goalkeepers beaten by a Crosby wrap around. Having said that, Copley is not known for his mobility. Last year he was positionally stable which seemed a strength and calming factor for the D. I wouldn't dump him yet, give him a couple more back to backs and see if he regains last years form. Fortunately Talbot is playing well after a mediocre start.
Last night the Kings left Copley out to dry numerous times, and he came through. He was very calm in net like last year. The Kings need to clean up those mistakes because eventually those shots will go in no matter who is in net.Copley, for the most part, was pretty solid last night. A few juicy rebounds, but generally speaking, much cleaner reading of the plays, better control on his movement and positioning, and just seemed more confident. I still think we continue to ride Talbot for most of the way, but if Copley can manage to solidify the backup position, would be nice NOT to have to make a trade for additional goaltending support.
32 save SO for #32.Quick pitching another shutout against the Penguins with 12:30 left in the game.
It's great seeing him have such a bounce back season - hopefully he keeps it up! 21 more wins to 400, and with it the HoFQuick pitching another shutout against the Penguins with 12:30 left in the game.
