The Avengers/Marvel movies

Agent Carter S2 after 3 eps is still as fun/campy/serious as Season 1 was. Well done.

Mark Ruffalo Says ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Will Form a Standalone ‘Hulk’ Arc

Ruffalo is awfully chatty about this flick. I have read a LOT of speculation that the road trip is going to have some version of Planet Hulk. At some point...I feel like whoever holds the rights to a new Hulk flick(Universal I think), Is gonna cry shenanigans and initiate some sort of payout for the sideways version that Marvel is going all end-around on.

Anyone rewatch Age of Ultron on Starz. Sorry, but it's a pretty mediocre movie bordering on bad/forgettable. You hardly can feel any of Whedon's signature touch. It's just so fold tab a into slot b that i really don't think there was a whole lot he could do to put a stamp on it.

The more I watch it, the more I dislike it. There's parts I enjoy (like The Vision/Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver) but most of the characters felt off to me. Joss Whedon turned Captain America into a parody of himself and Black Widow into a lovesick little girl. Without a doubt, one of my least favorite Marvel films.

Between the Klaw segment(which was MAYBE the best part of the movie, and the Pool of Whatever scene, it's so terribly disjointed. A bunch of scenes cobbled together(those two being sorta trailers for other movies) with very little cohesion. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch move through the movie with very easily interchangeable loyalties...Ultron is fun at times...but also kinda meh at others. And that opener in the forest...well when they freeze frame them all in the air....that's just soooooooooooooooooo geigh. Oh yeah, the Hulkbuster scene, if Marvel is really gonna toss shade on DC for the Man of Steel/Zod fight and the death/mayhem it caused, there is NO REALISTIC way that that slobberknocker had ZERO casualties. NO WAY.
