The other teams thread

Verhaeghe has become so bad playing the puck that he's one of the reasons why the Cats are losing this game. This is in contrast to when he used to be in the 2021 Lightning where he was more effective and not a minus machine. I believe he must be suffering from the yips in this year's Finals.

4-1 Edmonton just as Florida pulled Bob for the extra attacker. Now this definitely will go to Game 7. So much for my prediction that the Panthers will win it in 6 games. Thanks for nothing, you listless chokers.

Florida better not choke away Game 7 or else they will become the new 1942 Red Wings and it will stick with them for all eternity. They have no one to blame but themselves as they kept shooting themselves in the foot with those costly, unnecessary blunders. My faith in this team is really starting to crumble.

Barkov really was the Cats' best player on the ice for Game 6. The rest were turnover machines and played like pylons, especially Verhaeghe, Montour, and Forsling. Oh, and Tkachuk, Bennett, and Tarasenko were just as invisible and they're also at fault for contributing to the loss.

Only the Florida f'ing Panthers are capable of committing the most improbable probability of choking three games in a row (soon to be four!) in a FINAL, especially since it hadn't happened since WW2. What a JOKE! :verydrunk:

I feel so sorry for the Panthers fans who have to witness this trash fire. :fpalm:

Everyone is taking about McDavid for the Conn Smythe, but I think Skinner now merits serious consideration. 10-0 in games 4-7 in the playoffs. They should be co MVPs, if possible.

Skinner isn't worthy enough for the Conn Smythe as his SV% is a .909 in the Finals. And besides, he's not been doing enough eye-dropping saves to warrant his performance since, as I've said before, the Oilers' D has been doing the heavy lifting for him. It's most likely McPrincess' trophy to lose.

I get pulling the goalie early in the regular season but sheesh, way too early the last two games. Get a cycle going b4 pulling unless it's 1:30 left. I know they where having trouble getting puck possession in the zone but the way they have been playing, what makes them think the extra player is gonna help?

Um, on April 18th 2001, LA Kings coach Andy Murray pulled Felix Potvin with 3:22 left to play down by two goals against the Red Wings in Game Four of the West Quarterfinals.

The result was The Frenzy on Figueroa.
