I wish that place was a little closer to me, we need a good replacement for Saturdays at Hollingshead.
 
I'm tellin you guys... Lucky Baldwin's. Kinda far for AB$ and me, but once in a while it would kick ass to hang out again.

There is a Lampost Pizza next to Liquorama in Upland. No idea how the selection is though.
 
Lucky Baldwin's is a possibility, but we need a place where AB$ can make it. I've heard good things about Taps as well, and that might be a little bit more centrally located.
 
How about rotating the location? Lucky Baldwins one month, then down somewhere in OC next month.
 
Taps in Brea is a great place. Good food, great beer. Haven't been in a while. Their Cream Ale is awesome!

I picked up a six pack of this excellent IPA. I am a huge IPA fan and this is one of the best I've tried yet, DRAKE'S Gold Medal IPA is real hoppy as expected and has that nice hint of citrus that I love to get a whiff of when popping a good bottle of IPA. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BEER!
 
taps in brea is the ish!

smithwicks is great if you can find it on tap. when i'm on the east coast its yeungling and in the northweat its shaftesbury cream ale... mmmm.
 
Picked up a few brews for a holiday celebration tomorrow. The selection for the party includes Rogue's Santa's Private Reserve, Ommegang's Abbey Dubbel, and this 10th Anniversary selection from Ommegang:

This is in such limited supply, that Liquorama in Upland only received one case, and won't be getting any more.

I also picked up some of the Sierra Nevada Harvest, Sirra Nevada Celebration and Anchor Christmas Ale.

Nothing too fancy. Somewhat mild, with a bit of a subtle cream soda aftertaste. Quite nice for winter evenings, if I do say...

Belgian Style White from Portland, Maine. gotta go to Los Olivos to get it though
