I saw the recommendation for TJ's red salsa and for their green salsa verde, but I went off the board and bought the Hot & Smoky Chipotle Salsa.

That together with the Identity Crisis Tortilla chips is the s.

Tried their Marsala sauce last night...excellent. It in the salad dressing / oil's area.

Put it on top of a nice piece of chicken...and let it saute for a bit. Good stuff.

I used to love the jarred curry sauces from TJ's, but I've been buying the Patak's sauces from Samosa House lately (I think they are a little more expensive, but not much more) and they are so much better.
Patak's Korma and Rogan Josh sauces are delish!

Maya Kaimal sauces are excellent too, but pricey. I think the lowest prices I've seen for them is in Surfas in Culver City.

Besides all the "cool stuff" already mentioned in this thread, there are the free coffee, juice, and other samples they provide daily.
Excellent.

Another one of the greatest features of TJ's is that it is usually fully stocked with eye candy.
They never seem to run out!

This damn thread. Now I have a big old list of stuff I want to buy at TJs. I hate you all...with so much love.

Make sure you get the Chipwiches! They are called "Sublime Ice cream sandwiches" or something like that. I do know the word sublime is in there.

Sooooo good

i just bought the mozzarella, artichoke hearts and roasted tomatoes container (antipasto salad) from the cheese section. then i mixed it in with basil and heirloom tomatoes as a salad for dinner tonight... mmm... that was good.

Whats the price on those?

Picked up a box of these today.
Also picked up an Orange Chicken and a BBQ teryaki chicken. trip report to come.

The Orange Chicken was once good. The original supplier couldn't keep up and TJ's ended up with an inferior supplier and product
It was originally white meat. It tasted just like the Orange Chicken from Panda Express. It was juicy, full of flavor and a steal for the price

It is now dark meat and while baked turns grizzly and doesn't taste good at all.

ice cream sandwiches were quite good. ice cream was soft enough, but still had good flavor. I'd give them 8/10.

Looks like the orange chicken will stay in the freezer for awhile.

YOGURT REC!

the 0% milklfat small yogurts are amazing and only 120 cal w/ 0 fat. 2 WW Points if youre into that sort of thing.

very very good! I like the Honey and Blueberry so far, Im going to try the other ones today.

The TJ's Penne Bolognese is great.

Nothing special, just penne with meat sauce, but it's quick, easy, tasty, and not a lot of fat.

That with one of their lettuce mixes and one of their wines, a fine meal.

Good stuff.

Now if only they sold some quickly microwaveable, whole wheat, slightly-seasoned bread sticks to go with it, that would be awesome.

My favorite food ever is at TJs: Better N Peanut Butter. That stuff helped me survive my diet last year. 100 calories, 3 grams of fat per 2 tablespoons. Good deal.

Now for the not so healthy addiction: Dark chocolate covered blueberries (holy antioxidant deliciousness)

Vision,
Did TJ recently change the supplier of their Pound Plus chocolate bar?

It seems to have changed flavor and consistency. It has a definite coconut undertone to it.

There has been no change in the supplier for the belgium chocolate bars, but the supply has been inconsistent.
