I still think Blake is going to make one more trade.
God help us all…I still think Blake is going to make one more trade.
Is that really you Blando? Not signed up with the Athletic, so cannot read the article. And forgive me for singling out your post, it was the most convenient to quote.
Love,
Blando.
Me either, but it showed up for free on a google search. Is that really you Blando? Not signed up with the Athletic, so cannot read the article.
Where the f*** is Victor Buono! You can't just go from being a king to being a sultan!Me either, but it showed up for free on a google search.
Says he was really shocked by the trade. His mom said he couldn't understand why they (meaning the Kings) didn't want him.
Point being, the narrative that he wouldn't sign in LA, or wanted to be a free agent, or only wanted to play for the Wild is completely debunked by his own words and those of his family.
And yes, its me. Lost the email with my login ages ago, been lurking about for a while.
How should I read your reappearance at a time when Kopitar has 1 goal in his last 19 games? And forgive me for singling out your post, it was the most convenient to quote.

In all honesty that doesn't debunk anything. It sounds like in reality we will never really know - though actions do speak louder than words.Says he was really shocked by the trade. His mom said he couldn't understand why they (meaning the Kings) didn't want him.

I mean it's kinda like Blake saying that Todd's job was not in jeopardy...
Thank you for sourcing this - it is the first time I’ve actually seen proof that he was at all invested in the Kings and I have definitely looked. So foremost I stand corrected.Read this, tells you everything you need to know.
Fair or not, Vilardi couldn’t stay healthy. That and his inability to play Center sealed his fate imo.Thank you for sourcing this - it is the first time I’ve actually seen proof that he was at all invested in the Kings and I have definitely looked. So foremost I stand corrected.
Actually pretty surprised he felt that way, but glad Blake “treated him like gold,” per the article. Not glad to hear him say “they didn’t want me,” as that’s the same thing Vilardi said this season. Vibes.
That said, actions have consequences and while Faber had every right to do what he did, he made his own position shakier and made himself more of a chip. Had Vilardi not shown such abysmal attitude in previous seasons I believe he too would have been more valued by Blake. Trades and value judgement aside, I think there’s at least a logic there.
He, like Iafallo, has been up and down the lineup. Vilardi was playing 4th line at one point. Iafallo has been a healthy scratch or playing 3/4 line. Kupari has been, and may still be injured. I was always more upset about losing the second round pick than losing those 3 players. Not to insinuate that anyone on the Kongs is currently lighting it up, but Vilardi has zero points in his last 6 games. He's still streaky.
The cost of getting off that Iafallo contract. He, like Iafallo, has been up and down the lineup. Vilardi was playing 4th line at one point. Iafallo has been a healthy scratch or playing 3/4 line. Ha! If there’s a trade announced it won’t be talked about in this thread. This thread is for bitching and moaning only.I hate these threads cause if you click the last page it seems like a trade was made and I'm like huh where and get excited and/or scared.
Wait, isn't that what all the threads are for?Ha! If there’s a trade announced it won’t be talked about in this thread. This thread is for bitching and moaning only.
