Didn't like that they basically served a tna champ up to Randy to be slaughtered. But Randy seemed to pay respect I guess. The Hendry turnaround into his pose was funny.

He had a Wrestlemania moment, and even gave his move. It's not bad to be pinned via a RKO outta nowhere.

This is true. He said as much afterwards. and HHH apparently told him backstage "you'll be back doing wrestlemanias again".

Love the story that the original plan was to have him debut on Raw and lose to the Miz and TNA said no (if true)

I still haven't come to grips with R Truth being released. It's just too far. I considered going to MITB this weekend just to hold up signs and chant for him, but my god the ticket prices are absolutely insane.

I hope he shows up at AEW looking for Cena. Or searching for his childhood hero darby allin.

That Ron Killings looks very familiar!

Revolution was a blast when we were at Staples in March but I honestly haven't been more excited for a PPV as I am for All In tomorrow. The build leading up to it has been top notch.

AEW Men's World Championship Texas Deathmatch
Jon Moxley (C) vs Hangman Adam Page

Hangman has to win this right? For months and months now, all the interference from the Deathriders and Elite, this has to end. The title has to be free from the briefcase. I'm expecting an insane amount of blood and an insane amount of interference. It also really depends on how the other matches go... But Hangman should have the help of The Opps, Ospreay, and when Swerve finally helps him (the chain will come into play), that pop is going to be insane. I'm also half expecting Bryan Danielson to return to help as well, since this all kind of started with the Deathriders taking him with a plastic bag.

AEW Unified Championship Match - Winner Take All
Kazuchika Okada (Continental Champion) vs Kenny Omega (International Champion)

I'm assuming this will be under Continental Classic rules (because Tony Khan has said the CC will continue and this belt is part of it), so that means no interference. I wonder if they can go 30-35 minutes here. I'm sure they can. Honestly, it doesn't matter to me who wins this one, either choice is a solid pick. But storyline wise, I'm expecting Omega to win. I do think that Okada will get the honor of kicking out of the One Winged Angel though!

AEW Women's World Championship
'Timeless' Toni Storm (C) vs Mercedes Mone

This match should be really good too as both of them can go. The story here is that Toni knows the World Title is the big one and that she doesn't need all the other belts like Mercedes. Meanwhile, Mercedes seem to have this ego where she assumes she can collect any belt she wants, because that's how good she is. I don't know who I want to win here. I'm not sure who else Toni can feud with at this point if she retains. Mina? Statlander? Megan Bayne (again?), Thekla?

Instead, let's have Mercedes win it. Her "downfall" when she eventually has to lose all the titles one by one could be a fun storyline.

TNT Championship Match
Adam Cole (C) vs Kyle Fletcher

I like Adam Cole but boy has his run as TNT Champ been stale or what? Kind of like Daniel Garcia. I don't know why.. it just didn't work. Adam barely defended the title and didn't really have many open challenges. It's like when Daniel Garcia was the Champ, he was still doing Trios Matches more than Singles matches. The time has come to put it on Kyle Fletcher. He deserves it.

Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland vs The Young Bucks
If the Young Bucks lose, they aren't EVPs anymore. If Swerve and Ospreay lose, they can't challenge for the World Title for 1 year

I can't see Swerve and Ospreay losing here because if they do... do they still help Hangman in the main event? But I do like the potential story here if they do lose. Ospreay was the one that mentioned the stipulation so to have Swerve get really pissed off at Ospreay could be a great feud. Or they can both go on to win the Tag Titles first since they can't challenge for the main title. I'm glad they at least said 1 year though, unlike Cody when he stupidly said "forever".

And at the same time, even if The Young Bucks lose, nothing really happens anyway. So I'm going with Ospreay and Swerve here!

Men's Casino Gauntlet Match
Mark Briscoe #1 and MJF #2

These gauntlet matches are always fun since it's like a reverse Royal Rumble. I'm lowkey wishing for a 30 man gauntlet but that might be too insane. Who makes a surprise appearance for this? I really don't know. I hope Keith Lee shows up.. he's been out for far too long. Orange Cassidy? He had a torn pec so I don't know if he's ready. I have a feeling that we'll definitely see Darby Allin in this match too. My pick for the winner is MJF though since they kind of also foreshadowed him vs Hangman in the future.

Women's Casino Gauntlet Match
Kris Statlander #1 and Megan Bayne #2

I'm sure we can expect the usual suspects to be in this match. Willow, Anna Jay, Thekla, Mina, Thunder Rosa, Queen Aminata, Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Athena, etc. I think Athena has to win this one. My guess for a surprise appearance will be Dr. Britt Baker.

AEW World Trios Championship
The Opps (C) vs Deathriders

I really wish they'd feature the Trios Title more often. The Opps never seem to defend it either. Which makes it sad to say that it doesn't quite matter who wins here. I don't expect the Deathriders to win though, because if Mox loses the World Title, it'd be weird for them to have the titles while Mox lost his.

So yeah, thanks for reading. :) Can't wait!

My picks in no particular order:

Hangman
Omega
Mone
Fletcher
Ospreay/Strickland
Fletcher
Hurt Syndicate
The Ops

Gauntlet I’m not sure so I’ll say Darby comes back and wins it :)

If Moxley and mone both win I’ll lose it but I can also see it happening (if Darby is the one to take title from Moxley, but it’s hangman’s time)

Is Andrade the first wrestler to go from WWE -> AEW -> WWE -> AEW?? lol

1st WWE Stint - NXT Champion and US Champion. Then wasn't booked all that well and I think Zelina Vega was released and he requested his release shortly after and was initially denied but then granted eventually.

1st AEW Stint - Feuded with Cody, was in LFI briefly with Rush. Got injured. Had a decent Continental Classic showing and had one really good match against Buddy Matthews.

2nd WWE Stint - Returned to be closer with his wife Charlotte. Then they got divorced lol. Became a Speed champion (yikes) and honestly I don't know what else after off the top of my head because I don't really keep up with WWE anymore.

2nd AEW Stint - Returns to attack Kenny Omega and is now one of the 13 member of the Don Callis Family.

Wonder how this will turn out! I think he's a gift wrestler but he also thinks he's too good for certain things. I really dig his AEW music though so I'm glad that's back.

I actually like the look with the long hair. Looks pretty cool. I bet he and Omega could have a very good match.

Callis Family needs to end though, I have no interest in it. Seeing them all lined up last night, Takeshita just kind of standing in the background. That guy deserves way more than getting lost in the shuffle.

Oh they'll turn on him soon enough since they've been teasing a Takeshita face turn for some time now. Though I personally do want to see a Takeshita/Okada Tag Team Title run before they split.

But yeah, the problem with the Don Callis family is that you know who will win and who will always kind of take the falls. And oddly enough.. there's no "punishment" for losing either. I get that Don wants all the gold in the family but he doesn't seem upset either if they don't win.

Winners: Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, Wardlow (if he's ever healthy), Andrade El Idolo, El Clon (most likely until Hologram returns many months from now)

Middle of the Pack: Josh Alexander, Hechicero, Brian Cage (injured)

Losers: Rocky Romero, Lance Archer, Mark Davis (injured), Trent Beretta (injured)

As Bo Dallas once said, "Wrestling is not a love story, it's much more. It's hope".

:)
Gotta say Cena and Styles doing moves in tribute of many wrestlers at crown jewel was pretty cool.

The crowd chanting "we want edge" and singing metalingus to HHH in post interview was hilarious.

Last night's AEW crowd in Vegas with the "F*** Ice" chants during the Brody King/MJF main event seem to be getting a lot of traction everywhere. I wonder if this could this be a good "bump" for AEW's success moving forward.

ohh I didn't even hear about that but will have to watch. Brody has been heavily anti ICE

Made it to Revolution last night. Again so much fun.

5+ hours though with zero hour, yeesh. Probably could've cut 3 matches. Was hilarious when the battle royal was still going on and main show was going to start. Announcer nervously just got on mic, "zero hour is over, we are going live in 5 seconds". Fireworks go off, and yep match still going. Not sure how that appeared on tv.

Edge/Christian and Ospreay got massive, massive pops. Rousey - was kind of a collective groan.

When the heck is Takeshita going to win a meaningful match? I mean come on. If you're going to have him have tension with the Callis Family, then somehow get them involved. He got the crowd invested more and more in him as the match went on. So he passes out and loses clean? Not cool.

Takeshita, Brody King and Young bucks matches were probably my favorite of the night. so much good action. Brody is a beast. I get Swerve winning to keep his momentum but Brody had the crowd solidly on his side.

Not sure I get Hangman losing either. So he can't challenge for the championship as long as he's alive? Do we really believe that? That match was also, brutal. My kids were again horrified but at the same time laughing and handled it way better than the last texas deathmatch we were at :)

Nice ucsd! I was there too! PR7 Row 3 =D

5 1/2 hour show.. I liked it and it honestly only felt like 3 hours to me as crazy as that sounds.

Biggest pops for returns definitely went to Cope/Christian followed by Ospreay. I think Kenny Omega's return felt rushed when he made the save because they kind of faded to black really quick so the fans didn't properly react lol. I agree with you, Ronda's appearance was meh. I'm not a fan of her and never liked UFC fighters thinking they belong in a wrestling ring. Plus she doesn't like putting people over so why have her??? I hope it's a one-off thing because at least that catches the attention of casual fans at least.

I watched the Pre-Show on Youtube when I got home. They cut off the battle royal right when Ciampa got eliminated. So when Arkady told us there was 5 seconds left, that was definitely a rush job and it wasn't on the telecast haha.

Young Bucks vs FTR - This was their best match yet. The odd thing was that in the first 5-8 minutes of the match, I could have sworn that no one bothered to tag in at all and it almost felt like a Tornado Match. LOL. But outside of that, insane nearfalls and great match overall. I really thought the Bucks would take it but given Cope/Christian's return, it makes sense why FTR retained.

Toni Storm vs Marina Shafir - Not Toni's best match but I still think Marina is a bit rough around the edges. Don't get me wrong, she has improved tremoundsly but still nowhere near the level of other top wrestlers. And I couldn't help but think back to last year's Revolution when Toni had that amazing match with Mariah May, so this felt like a downgrade for her. I also really think we should have gotten Toni Storm vs Wheeler Yuta if I'm being honest. That would have been way more fun. (Also, Tony Khan not giving the fans a chance to chant bald at Wheeler is a missed opportunity.)

Mox/Takeshita was the best match of the night. The crowd felt 50/50 early on but then I feel like the momentum shifted towards Takeshita as the match went on. So many near falls! I think ultimately, I'm okay with Takeshita not winning the title. He's going to feud with Okada soon and the last thing we need is for the Continental Title to be Unified again with the International Title. I think this also firmly plants the seed for a Takeshita face turn (or he joins the Deathriders since he bled with Mox).

Ospreay returning to go after the Deathriders makes sense. Even though Mox had been more of a face.. it shouldn't matter. He did what he did to take out Ospreay and he needs to pay.

Megan Bayne/Lena Cross vs Harley/Willow - A rare squash match for AEW and that's good. Willow was selling the shoulder injury from the pre-show and well, Bayne/Cross look really strong.

Swerve vs Brody - Good **** ice chants from the crowd :) I didn't think Swerve would lose and he did alright here. I don't think Brody's the type of guy that will give you an insane match but he made it work. The bump on the floor was rough!
