Caps were better in that period, but after the first goal, Kings decided that they're going to get one too. Let's get that power play working boys.
 
Would love to see a bit of an offensive rush to start the period. Get out of this stalemate.
 
Getting that Danault line to shoot more is some good coaching. The tendency for Fiala and even Arvy to be too cute with the skating and trying to split defenders lately was getting too fancy. Too much passing and skating and not enough shooting.

Juice provides the engine, Byfield the pass and Mikey buries it. So nice!!!
 
Wow, I was just thinking Byfield was having a crummy game (young guy ups and downs) and then he makes a sweet pass like that.
 
In real-time that pass from Byfield looked pretty routine but go back and watch the replay. He absolutely threaded the needle and put it exactly where it needed to be with Caps defenders all over both him and Anderson. Incredible vision.
