The new Sigur R?s CD "Me? su? ? eyrum vi? spilum endalaust". It's available to stream on Sigur R?s's WEBSITE. It's also available to listen to at LAST FM.

I gotta tell you - It's fan-frickin'-tastic. I can't decide if the new Death Cab for Cutie, the new Dandy Warhols or this one is the best of 2008 so far, but it's definitely top 3. Can't wait until it's available to download or buy.

Can't wait to listen to it. As for Death Cab, I think Narrow Stairs is fine and dandy, but it doesn't come close to Transatlantism. Still, can't wait to see them live on Friday night.

I still have to give Portishead the lead for this year, on the strength of Hunter, The Rip, Deep Water and Silence (In that order - Hunter is so beautiful, I'm at a loss for words to relay just how much). The Black Keys ain't too shabby either.

Oh, and...

The dude has a fine taste in music.

As for me, I'm jamming to Kyuss's "Gardenia" which is stuck in my head :)

Ges didn't say anything bad about my taste, just observing. And that's what it's all about anyways, right? Someone notices what I like, doesn't know much about it, checks it out, possibly likes it, and there you go, a new fan!

Oh, and thanks for saying I got good taste. Much appreciated!

The Gutter Twins "Saturnalia" a collaboration from Greg Dulli from the Afghan Whigs & Twilight Singers & Mark Lanegen from Screaming Trees. It's by far & away the best CD that's come out this year.
