Interesting to see Cat Stevens decide to get back in the limelight of Western civilization.

I read a review of this album in Time or the LA Times, and they said it was pretty good.

Guy does have some great songs: Peace Train, Morning Has Broken, Wild World.

Yes, this is his second release since stepping back into the spotlight (the first being An Other Cup). Of the two, Roadsinger is more pleasing and accessible, as its sound is far more reminiscent of those great 70's releases.

HEY FOOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I was walking with my wife and son up Bardstown Road, here on yet another gorgeous day in Louisville, KY. We walk into Ear X-Tasy (ear X-tacy), as I needed to pick up Sun Gangs (I tried Bionic a couple of weeks ago, and they didn't have it). I decide to go check out the White Rabbit CD's, and ****... The new album was released today!!!!!

So, before I give a spin to Sun Gangs, I am listening to It's Frightening.

Best post rock album ever?

I dunno....is Palmless Prayer Mass Murder Refrain post rock? Because I think it's a little better than You are There. But then again, I like Hymm to the Immortal Wind better than You are There in terms of Mono's albums...

It is indeed. And you're probably right. Palmless Prayer/Mass Murder Refrain is probably better.

Listening to this currently:

Carnivale+Soundtrack.jpg

The original soundtrack to seasons 1 and 2 of Carnivale. This is some of the best music from a tv series I've heard aside from BSG. Jeff Beal is a great find, a little Thomas Newman sounding (if you care about that sorta thing).
