All Things:Fx

Tyrant has been pretty good this season. Although, it's hard to believe the doctor has such an easy time killing people now including his best friend's daughter.

Y'know...Bassam ain't exactly in love with either of his families. Yeah, it's been great. And there are consequences unlike most shows. BUT, I still say that Jamahl is the more sympathetic brother.

anyone else watching Sex & Drugs & Rock n Roll?

I'm enjoying it way more than I thought I would

Yeah i didnt hear many good things, but im kinda liking it.

Sticking with it...but it's a tough watch. I do like that Leary works at least one of his signature rants into every episode. The Drummer and Bass player are the backbone of the show...

Glad it's just a half hour.

There is at least one scene in each episode I laugh good. Ex: the band's discussion over what to refer to his daughter's private parts as.

The bass player's 40 minute songs were pretty good.

Like the cameos too.

Agreed on the half hour. Forces it to move along enough.

Justified is on Amazon Prime... maybe they have some sort of exclusive agreement for streaming that pre-dates FXNow?

Dunno about Fargo.

It's FX's day at press tour, and before John Landgraf addresses the press to talk about his own slate of shows — as well as the exciting/terrifying explosion in scripted programming on TV — the network made a bunch of announcements about its upcoming slate. In no particular order:

* "Fargo" season 2 (the first episode of which was a huge relief for me after watching most of "True Detective" season 2) will debut on October 12.

* Kurt Sutter's new series, "The Bastard Executioner," will debut September 15, while the new season of "American Horror Story" will debut October 7.

* "Better Things," a comedy starring Pamela Adlon and co-created by Adlon and Louis C.K., has been ordered to series for FX. FXX, meanwhile, ordered to series "Cassius and Clay," a new animated comedy starring Lake Bell and Kaitlin Olson.

* Though FX isn't going comedy-free, "Archer" will be moving to FXX in an attempt to boost the newer comedies and help clarify the difference between the sibling channels. (FXX, for now at least, is all-comedy, and the few remaining FX comedies are older-skewing.)

* "The Strain" has been renewed for a third season.
