All Things:Fx

I like how you can see the rubber sword shudder at about the 8 second mark.

‘Taboo:’ Steven Knight Talks Tom Hardy, Finished Scripts, and Having One Director
http://collider.com/taboo-steven-knight-talks-tom-hardy-scripts-directors/

Stephen Knight and Tom Hardy are teaming up again; the two collaborated on the feature film Locke, which was released last April, as well as the second season of Knight’s series Peaky Blinders. Now, they will be heading back to the small screen for the BBC/FX series Taboo. Taboo takes place in 1813, where “James Keziah Delaney (Hardy), a rogue adventurer, returns from Africa with 14 ill-gotten diamonds to seek vengeance after the death of his father. Refusing to sell the family business to the East India Company, he sets out to build his own trade and shipping empire and finds himself playing a dangerous game with two warring nations, Britain and America.”

Sooooooo excited for Fargo's return. Hope it doesn't kick me in the balls like the second season of True Detective did.

So, Tyrant...season finale'. After a very up and down second season, you knew someone was gonna get it. If ______ is dead, it seems a logical conclusion. But, I still argue that not only is ______ the best character on the show, ______ is also, in my opinion, the protagonist of the show. The most morally complex and at times a victim, character. And the one who has had the best arc so far, with a huge possibility of more. So, kinda hoping JAMAL ain't dead...

The Strain has been a bit better the last few episodes. Still need to lose Fet's girlfriend's girlfriend, and his girlfriend too. In fact, all the female leads, because they are garbage and the acting is so sub-soap opera. Honestly, you have some decent male actors on that show...Durand, Stoll, Walder Frey(damn you Walder Frey!!!!!) and that hispanic lead would get dumped off a telenovela...AND SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE A TOP TIER VIROLOGIST!!!!!!!! Kelly Osborne wouldn't let her clean the toilets,

Bastard Executioner tonight. Double episode. Reviews seem to all say that it starts a little slow and may grow into something...so adjust your expectations and try not to judge till at least the 5th or 6th episode.

Hopefully by starting slow, it means character development. Breaking Bad started slow, but was great in that you really got a feeling for the main characters in the story line.

Ok, was ready to ditch Sex & Drugs & R'n'R...but then I watched the Doctor, Doctor episode. That was pretty brilliant. And Griffin Dunne too. Callie Thorne popping up in the next one(Tattoo You) was nice. I still get horrible douche chills whenever they start playing actual music...but its growing on me.

I think what I like the most, is that the whole crew works together seamlessly enough to get me past the obvious ridiculousness of Dennis Leary in the poodle wig. Bam Bam and Rehab could seriously have their own show...but I love their little side adventures. I was sooooo thinking Rehab looked like Zappa. The Zappa's father line just was a slam dunk. I hope they get renewed, Leary said he wanted to get Jane Lynch to come on the show as his sister(he got mistaken for her during the filming).
