Darn it! Another show not enough people knew about but probably would have really liked.FX Cancels Denis Leary’s ‘Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll’

Kinda saw it coming. Still sucks. Got really good the last 5 or so episodes. Will miss the adventures of Bam Bam and Rehab. Oh, and the daughter's 'talents'.
I must be a baby cause that first episode of AHS scared the bejeezus out of me.
Even if it did go a little blair witch at the end.
"Cuba Gooding Jr.! Go Kings Go!" - my wife
Now, is the episode next week going to continue this story? I almost feel like this could've been a standalone twilight zone-ish episode. Aside from the fact we infer they all survived if they're living to tell the documentary afterwards.I was watching at work...lights were off. When the motion sensor light behind me went off inexplicably I almost had to cleanup on aisle 3. I thought it was very different from all the seasons so far. All the other seasons were so high concept that making them weird took ridiculous jumps and seemed to strain by the middle episodes. By starting out small and focused, they allow themselves the room to stretch without having to go to the extravagant lengths of seasons past. The dramatic reenactment device already makes it feel like a different show.
anyone still watching the strain?
(spoiler alerts)
First I was like "holy s*** they killed the master!". then I'm like "that was too easy". A freaking red worm?
I love so many of the characters on this show, but at times it seems to go in circles across multiple episodes. I bet if it was 8 episode seasons on netflix **** would go down quickly!
Has anybody been watching Atlanta?
I have and it's pretty good so far. Some dry humor.

We’re only two episodes in to American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare, and the conceit of the reality-style investigation series gimmick is already wearing a little thin, as I mentioned in my recap earlier. I don’t need a talking head interview of Andre Holland to tell me how messed up this crap is, over and over again. I’m watching! I know it is!
In an interview with EW that published today, however, Ryan Murphy assures us that there is a method to his madness, and that “the thing that you think you’re watching is not what you’re watching.” Episode six apparently contains a twist so huge that it’s gonna turn this whole season on its ear, so much so that the mysterious theme of the season was supposedly only the first part of the surprise.
“Even though the subject matter has gotten out, it’s irrelevant because nobody gets what we’re doing,” says co-creator Brad Falchuk. “No matter what you think it is, it’s not that. Then, episode 6 comes and you’re like, ‘Wait! What happened?’”
Adds Murphy, “It’s a hat on a hat on a hat on a hat that we’ve had to protect.” While Murphy thinks the twist separates the season into two halves, Falchuk considers it three unique stories. He says, “It’s like [episodes] 1-5, 6-9, and 10 is its own thing.”
