Needed a new show for my lunch time breaks.
Started The Man in the High Castle. Must've been good because I'm tense and can feel my blood pressure raised a little.
Need to figure out exactly who everyone is, but (1) very interesting concept, (2) I can't quite tell which on the Japanese side might be good, or still might be bad, and (3) I want to start taking Haikkido (or however it's spelled) lessons.
Man possibilities on where this goes. I'm looking forward to the full season!
Sounds like a ripoff. In Harold and Kumar, you get two men high in a White Castle.
Man oh Man. Just finished the man in the high castle. I haven't enjoyed anything that much in a long time.
Beautiful. Amazing touch to who is good vs. who is evil, adding juuust a little humanity and decency to characters you feel should be 100% villains. Very good acting and character development.
I didn't read the book (and kind of don't want to so as not to ruin anything that might lead into a second season). But the end of episode 9 and through the finale, WTF and wowzers. Big thumbs up for me.
Just who's interested isn't clear, but Amazon is reportedly lining up "major, well-known" movie and TV channels for a launch that could happen as early as December.
To use the code, click the “More Purchase Options” link on the movie page, and enter the code prior to renting. The price on the Amazon page won’t change, and Amazon’s order history page actually told me it charged me full price when I tested it. However, my credit card statement showed the 75% discount, and Amazon support will always be able to help you out if you’re having trouble.
