I don't remember hearing that! But Mark Adkins is known to be overtly drunk and/or "under something" many a times, and often uh "interacting" with the crowd. Their shows are always entertaining and eventful!

i had that beer. it was good for a lager, worth a try but i probably wouldn't gravitate towards it amongst other choices.

i wanted to go to it's not dead fest but... that venue. oof.

btw, i saw dropkick murphys in dublin this past july and it was awesome.

i'm debating going to punk n brew since it's practically in my backyard but i'm also just getting too old for fests.

going to against me! and hotwatermusic later this month.
 
I was debating making the trek to San Diego for ye scallywag fest instead (pennywise, me first and the gimme gimmes, lagwagon, vandals, strung out, adolescents), but ignite may tip the scales for me. Haven't been to sealegs live yet or the bolsa location, but the thought of getting down there also makes me shiver.

Punk in drublic is definitely hoppy. Reminds of a blonde lager. Tasty enough but agreed with lunchbox I may not gravitate towards it naturally. I'm also a big stone fanboy so I'll support the cause though (we're just doin it for the cause).

Also is 5.8%, while the pennywiser beer releasing Wednesday in conjunction with lost coast brewery will be 4.8%. The more you know..

I always like seeing GBH and the Adicts and would have loved to the Buzzcocks once again. I have never seen Off! live, so that hurts. But maybe next year.

And if I may inquire..........are you saying the Misfits suck nowadays or just in general? Because I gotta say they kicked ass back in the old school days.

The Adicts kicked all kinds of ass! They were great. GBH, not so much. Buzzcocks were great as well as the Selecter.

This is where you & I differ my friend, not a fan of the misfits at all. It's like nails on a chalkboard. I'll leave it at that.

Addicts and Toy Dolls played some fun shows together!!!
Craziest punk show ever was the riot at Mendiola's Ballroom.. I think it was Suicidal Tendencies first gig.. Obe of the Vandals last gigs.
LA had a great punk scene!

Kate Nash. She came out at the same time as Lilly Allen. And like Lilly she was super shy at live shows. But then she got tough and did this song! Grrrl Power!!!! Bloody awesome!!!
