I absolutely loved the origin story put forth by MOS. Costner and Lane as Mr. and Mrs. Kent was an amazing stroke of genius. I loved his story of getting to the lost 'sleeper' ship to find out who he was. What I didn't like - and I loved Zod and his army - was the overall destruction of Metropolis. Supes would've never allowed that to happen. The story was well done and the Director's Cut was the best choice but it just left a bad taste for me.
