I could do that, but would rather get hammered off of a decent brew at least. How about a 6 pack of Bigfoot instead :) Or 4 Double Bastards? Now you're talkin !

Had a couple of beers from Butte Creek Brewing over the weekend. A Pale Ale and their Pilsner. Both were terrible. Stay away.

I picked up a bottle at the Wine Country along with a 6-pack of oaked Bastard which I haven't seen in awhile.
 
i just had some oaked bastard today with my dinner. :ggrin: :beerchug:
 
A couple nights ago I had Greenflash's "Imperial IPA". Outstanding !!! I truly think I would pick it over Stone's Ruination, and that is saying a bunch ! We all know hwo great Ruination is. I'll need to have at least 2 more tall bottles of it and the Ruination again to come to that conclusion though. I was highly impressed to say the least !

Also had Ballast Point's "Black Marlin Porter" yesterday evening. VERY drinkable and smooth for a porter. Not overly done with the coffee and roast characteristics, maybe a bit of vanilla/sweet kind of touch to it. I'm definitely going back for more. I was kinda skeptical at first, since I thought Ballast Point's Amber Ale was pretty lousy, but this porter shocked the hell out of me. Two thumbs up :)
 
one more year and I get to drink. Aunt Stephanie promised to take me to Stone Brewery and then of course to Hooters for some Hot Wings.
 
I was surprised to find some Oaked Bastard also and enjoyed every drop. That's one of my fave beers for sure.. Here is what's on today's menu:

Finally had the 11th Anniversary tonight. Damn, that stuff is intense.

Btw, I think I've mentioned it before (but just reminded of it because my dad picked up another bottle), you hop heads need to try Port Brewing's Hop 15. It's in stock right now at BevMo.
 
I had the Moylan's Hopsickle last Thursday evening. Very complex and definitely lots going on. Not quite as devastating to the palate as Stone's Ruination (which left me dissapointed because I am a hop head and thought a "hopsickle" would be up there in bitterness). I found the balanced lacked a bit, but overall I enjoyed it and would grab another one next time at Liquorama.

Had the Hop Ottin IPA on Friday night. DELICIOUS !!! I had it once on draft at The Yardhouse, but that was after I had a crappy so called Hef from Lucille's BBQ which totally interfered with the greatness of the Hop Ottin IPA. I was glad I picked up a 6'er of it in bottles. Definitely up there with my favorite IPAs. Very well balanced as far as the malt & hops go. It really doesn't get any better.
 
Blue Moon has a winter ale out called Full Moon. I just got some yesterday and it's really good. I don't have a picture because it's pretty new and I couldn't find a jpeg anywhere. It's brewed with roasted malts and dark Belgian sugar.

Also got the Sam Adams Imperial Pilsner today that Mitchrock recommended above. That stuff is strong! It's really rich. I don't think I'll get it again, but definitely good for those who like the hops.
I had to go to Bevmo for this so I grabbed a Stone 11th anniversary while I was at it... can't wait to try it. :)
 
I had Rogue's "Dead Guy Ale" last night. Very damn smooth and exceptionally clean just like the rest of their brews :) Good **** !
