I am definitely rooting for Laf! In junior high school I played for coach Bill Cleary, the former longtime coach at Harvard. But I went to Boston University! My roots are in Boston.

Nick Bjugstad should’ve been a King last season and Blake would do well to grab him before the deadline.

He makes 2.1M so someone would have to go back the other way. I could live with Lizotte and Kaliyev to AZ for Bjugstad.

Not a terrible idea, and Bjugstad has another year left on the contract. Basically supersizing lizotte by adding a Kaliyev sweetener. 😅

Bjugstad is big and tall but, he isn't known for being a pain in the ass physical response/instigator.
Bjusgtad & O'Brien for Lizotte, JAD and a 2nd?

Can I haz both?

Think of a 4th line with both of them AND Lizotte in the middle! It would be Ronning/Odjik/Momesso 2.0

Maroon is going to be 36 come playoff time. He never fast and I am sure he has lost a step or two over the years. At 32-33 he was good for the playoffs. Not sure he is the answer at 36.

Just grit. Arvy brought a surprising mean streak in with him I felt, and balanced the line-up a lot with the RH shot. So big, mean, RH shot just really cleans up a lot of the lines IMO. I'd focus on that acquisition before a goalie and leave that for summer.
 
What about Jordan Eberle to replace Arvidsson?

He’s not big, fast or physical but he’s a right shot with a good amount of skill and he’s had some post season success.

5.5M cap hit. Free agent this summer.
