from Supertramp?Bring up hodgson!
I am definitely rooting for Laf! In junior high school I played for coach Bill Cleary, the former longtime coach at Harvard. But I went to Boston University! My roots are in Boston. In the last few games, I believe Laf has stepped up his game. He is hitting, causing turnovers and just playing better overall. He is a rookie with a high ceiling. He only gets better and by the end of the season, he will be a different player. As we know Defense is so key in the playoffs, I just don't think they can afford to move one and take a step back. Laffy's is so close, I don't believe they need a proven shot at this point. We will see.
He is figuring it out and I believe he has the mentality to do whatever it takes.I am definitely rooting for Laf! In junior high school I played for coach Bill Cleary, the former longtime coach at Harvard. But I went to Boston University! My roots are in Boston.
If we drew Vegas in the playoffs, I would absolutely insert him onto the roster over JAD or Lewis. Line him up against Stone very early in the game, and say, ‘I wonder what you’re gonna be saying to media after this one..’Bring up hodgson!
Nick Bjugstad should’ve been a King last season and Blake would do well to grab him before the deadline.I would prefer we obtain a rough, agitating 4th liner for that role.
Pat Maroon
Brandon Duhaime
Both are UFA's from the Wild.
Liam O'Brien from the Coyotes, also a UFA
We NEED that element and it's better if it's not a d-man in the box.
Not a terrible idea, and Bjugstad has another year left on the contract. Basically supersizing lizotte by adding a Kaliyev sweetener.Nick Bjugstad should’ve been a King last season and Blake would do well to grab him before the deadline.
He makes 2.1M so someone would have to go back the other way. I could live with Lizotte and Kaliyev to AZ for Bjugstad.
Bjugstad is big and tall but, he isn't known for being a pain in the ass physical response/instigator.Nick Bjugstad should’ve been a King last season and Blake would do well to grab him before the deadline.

Can I haz both?I would prefer we obtain a rough, agitating 4th liner for that role.

True. But I'd rather have him out there than JAD or AK. Who can impact a game/series more?Maroon is going to be 36 come playoff time. He never fast and I am sure he has lost a step or two over the years. At 32-33 he was good for the playoffs. Not sure he is the answer at 36.
Agreed, but there could be other targets as well.True. But I'd rather have him out there than JAD or AK. Who can impact a game/series more?
Big. Strapping. Bodies.Agreed, but there could be other targets as well.
Big. Strapping. Bodies.
Nothing else matters.
Ronning killed us for years when he was with Vancouver. Then we traded for him (I believe Jeri Karalahti went the other way) and he couldn't get going. Moral of the story: careful what you wish for.Can I haz both?
Think of a 4th line with both of them AND Lizotte in the middle! It would be Ronning/Odjik/Momesso 2.0
He’s not well thought of around the league. What about Jordan Eberle to replace Arvidsson?
He’s not big, fast or physical but he’s a right shot with a good amount of skill and he’s had some post season success.
5.5M cap hit. Free agent this summer.
I’ll take Jeff Carter back if Pittsburgh throws in a pick. He’s not well thought of around the league.
Yeah, he killed us in the dot last gmI’ll take Jeff Carter back if Pittsburgh throws in a pick.
